CT22MAN2
Instructor:  Cherie Roach
3 CEH

This course has been instituted as a mandatory portion of your Connecticut continuing education requirements for real estate license renewal.

The course will provide you with the racial history of what has taken place within the real estate industry – with insights into where we have been, where we are now and the work we have yet to accomplish.

You will be shown examples of actual instances where discrimination continues to take place – both intentional and unintentional. You also will hear from real estate professionals who have experienced bias and discrimination in their own real estate practice.

While we realize people of all races have experienced difficulties and hardships, this course is specifically related to the hardships experienced by persons of color due to racial discrimination.
It is our sincere hope that students will approach this course with an open mind and make a conscious effort to recognize, discourage and prevent any instances you may find of racial bias and discrimination in the real estate industry.
